Hiking & Riding Trails
Lots of paths worth traveling.
Orlando North is home to 60 miles of picturesque trails perfect for hiking, biking, horseback riding and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. The Great Florida Birding Trail runs across several Orlando North wilderness areas, giving you the chance to experience some of the world's most enchanting birds. Discover some the most scenic areas of the county on the Florida National Scenic Trail, a 1,300-mile trail that runs from the panhandle to the Everglades. Here it's mostly unpaved except in Lake Mary, where it follows roadways and existing trails to cross the Seminole Wekiva Trail and the Cross Seminole Trail. These two trails have been designated as Showcase Trails because of their length, beauty and accommodation of many users.
